Operating procedures for rotary cutting machine

It is not allowed to wear slippers and high-heeled shoes during the operation of the equipment. Female employees should tie up their hair and do not wear vests and shorts (bare arms and bare feet are strictly prohibited).

Comprehensive inspection shall be carried out before starting the machine: the key points are whether there are other metal impurities in the distribution box and control cabinet, whether the electrical circuit has fallen off and the insulation is damaged, whether the electrical components and instruments are complete and intact, whether the screws of the equipment are loose (especially the tools and moving rotating parts must be checked daily), and timely handle and report the problems found.

The equipment is required to be firmly positioned and installed with grounding wire. It is strictly forbidden to move the equipment arbitrarily. It is required to save power, and it is forbidden to let the equipment run by air for a long time.

Switch on and off: after checking the equipment and confirming that there is no hidden danger, turn on the main power switch of the equipment, start and feed the mechanism to start the log rotary cutting operation. Stop the machine; stop all control systems according to the reverse order of starting, and then turn off the main power supply.

Regular maintenance contents of the equipment: daily spot inspection shall be carried out for all moving and rotating contact points of sliding mechanism (such as sliding block and sliding rail), feed screw chain, bearings, gears, etc., once or twice a week with lubricating oil or grease. The motor shall be maintained at the second level (once every half a year), and the motor shall be kept clean and well cooled.

It is necessary to take good care of the equipment to prevent the equipment from being damaged; it is forbidden to place other objects, especially hard metal objects, on the rotary cutter, and it is forbidden to use it to clean the sawdust on the cutting tool during the operation of the equipment.

The operator of the equipment should pay attention to other people's dynamic prompt when withdrawing the remaining wooden shaft after rotary cutting. When rotating the potentiometer to increase or decrease the cutting speed, it should be adjusted slowly. It is not allowed to increase the speed too fast, which is easy to damage and reduce the accuracy. The potentiometer must be rotated to zero before shutdown.

When changing cutting tools or maintaining, the power must be cut off and warning signs should be hung. The idea is to wear protective gloves and do a good job of accident protection. The operation should be carried out on the premise of safety first. The cutting edge of the equipment tool should be polished with a special tool grinder. Pay attention that the knife edge cannot be grinded and the straightness of the knife edge should be maintained.

Before off duty, first disconnect the branch power supply and the main control power supply, and thoroughly clean the equipment, such as chain, gear, track, screw, debris, etc., so as to ensure that the equipment is in a safe and good operation state without any hidden danger and future trouble.
