What should be paid attention to when using hot press ?

Hot press manufacturers remind us that when using the hot press, we should operate according to the standard to ensure the safety of the machine and personnel.

Pay attention to check the heating, lubrication and transmission of motors, reducers and bearings, and check whether the operation of travel switch and pneumatic components is normal. Pay attention to whether there is jamming between the pressing plate and the cross beam and the structure when the hot press rises. If there is any, the fault should be eliminated in time. Pay attention to whether the pull rod works normally and whether there is possibility of loosening and falling. Lubricating oil should be added to the friction surface of wear-resistant plate of lower crossbeam once per shift. Slabs, pallets and rough plates shall not stay in the hot press for a long time to prevent fire. In case of power failure, the lowering valve of the press shall be pushed manually to lower the press and push out the rough plate.

When each slab is put into the machine, it is necessary to check whether there is any possibility of damage to the pallet. In addition, it is also necessary to check whether there is jamming in the slab pushing machine, and whether all the rough plates are pushed out of the press. If not, the press should be pulled out manually to check whether the baffle is in place.
