The leather is not smooth: the knife door is too large / too small {whether there is periodic squeezing juice} the knife bed moves unevenly, (whether there is pause when moving) the single roller is not concentric (whether it is concentric, it can be observed whether the gap between the single roller and the knife changes during the operation of the machine / no change can be seen under normal conditions).

The thickness of the leather is uneven, the tail plate is thin or the tail plate is rolled. In this case, there is no need to worry and do not repair the machine blindly. In order to measure the thickness of veneer at each stage, a special person should use the same spiral micrometer to measure the thickness of veneer at the same operation point after rotary cutting, before drying, after drying and after gluing, so as to measure the small change of veneer thickness.

From the actual measurement results, it can be seen that the value measured before drying is slightly larger than that after rotary cutting. This is because the veneer has part of rebound, that is, in the rotary cutting, the veneer is compressed after being pressed with a compression ruler, and part of the compressed amount is compressed into elastic deformation, which will rebound after being placed for a period of time.
